1931 envelope from Arisaig, to Amman, Jordan, with L.N.E.R. Railway letterstamp

1931 an envelope dated for 10th April 1931 bearing three 1½d George V issues paying the 4½d airmail rate to Amman, Trans Jordan, sent via Palestine bearing on reverse the L.N.E.R. 3d red letterstamp "From Arisaig" which has been tied to the envelope by the datestamps of Jerusalem, Gaza and Amman. The railway letterstamp paid for the carriage of the letter to Queen Street Station, Glasgow where it was placed in the care of the Post Office. A rare and most unusual cover from the West Coast of Scotland. Bov#397
